Absolute Trip is owned and operated by Captain Ron Neff. Captain Ron is a U.S.C.G. Licensed Captain who has spent all his life enjoying Florida's waters. Captain Ron is a Native Floridian who has fished Florida’s waters since he was a tiny-tot as his father would say. His mother and father took him camping and fishing every weekend while Captain Ron was growing up. He is affectionately known by some as "Captain Lucky" as he has a gift for finding and catching fish even on the toughest of days. He has saltwater in his veins from the many years exploring and enjoying what the ocean and inshore waters New Smyna has to offer. Charter Fishing is Captain Ron’s full-time job and he enjoys introducing newcomers to the sport as well as fishing with the most experienced anglers.

Captain Ron's boat is a 35 foot Marlin 350FS with twin Suzuki 300's 4 stroke motors and is outfitted with the best electronics (GPS, Northstar Radar/GPS/Bottom Finder, Sytex Bottom/Fish Finder, Satellite Radio, two VHF radios, EPIRB, etc.) and safety equipment. Captain Ron uses a full array of AVET fishing equipment. Captain Ron also builds many of his own lures and uses them on a daily basis.

Captain Ron does not meet many strangers only friends. He loves a good time, traveling, and reeling in fish.
